This paper is about Soren Aabye Kierkegaards (1813-1855) philosophy regarding the relation between the aesthetic and the ethic stage. The result of the essay is a modification of the aesthetic problem. The suggestion is to convert part of Kierkegaard?s metaphysical claims into an epistemic approach. An epistemic approach means to hold a position of well grounded stipulative beliefs.

What is the?self? and to become ?one-self?? To resolve this questions possibility IÂŽve been using the philosopher SĂžren Kierkegaard metaphysic paradoxes. This essay about the ?self? shows the reader the difference between describing a transcendent and immanent phenomenon and if itÂŽs possible to become or to not become ourselves. The process is a key of the ?self? which Kierkegaard explains the ?self? in and for it-self.

Stig Dagerman - Existentialisten : En jĂ€mförande studie mellan De Dömdas Ö och fem existentialistiska tĂ€nkare

Is the Swedish author Stig Dagerman an existentialist? This work takes a close look at Dagerman?s novel Island of the Doomed to see if it is possible to consider it an expression of existentialist thinking and to see if it interacts with any specific existentialist tradition. Dagerman?s novel was compared with select works of five existentialist thinkers ? SĂžren Kierkegaard, Martin Heidegger, Jean-Paul Sartre, Albert Camus and Karl Jaspers, all read in the light of the four categories of existentialistic thinking identified by the Swedish scholar Lennart Koskinen. All the four categories appeared to be central themes within the novel and a few subcategories were identified.

In this study, I have investigated whether there is a usefulness for the individual on the basis of Kierkegaard's speech in WorkÂŽs of love of our duty to love the people we see. My main conclusions are as follows: Infinite resignation of Fear and Trembling have a greater effect on a relevant ethics than faith movement. Aspects to change my own attitudes about love, dare to belive in the love of the other, and forgiveness as a need is relevant to the ethics I seek. But above all, love itself is the most useful aspect out of a kierkegaardian perspective..

What is the relation between literature and philosophy and what can we learn from it? Is there something about the novel and its language, fiction and narrative that separates it from philosophical litterature? In what way is knowledge about this useful to us, and is it possible to use fiction for the understanding of philosophy? This study makes an attempt to shed some light on the by no means obviuos distinction between philosophy and literature. The aim is to understand what, if in fact there is something that separates philosophy from literature, there is about the distinction that makes it possible for us to separate the ideas in literature from philosophical ideas, and in what way we can use the novel, or fiction in its widest meaning, to understand philosophy. When teaching philosophy youÂŽre often required to make the abstract tangible. But if thereÂŽs a misconception about the distinction in what makes philosophical literature philosophical, then maybe there is something to learn from literature, or, at least, something about the fiction and its aesthetics, that makes it easier for us to relate to and understand, for example, the theories that are debated in moral philosophy. There are some philosophers who have used the form of fiction to make their thoughts on philosophical questions understandable.
